all da new tings

Hey friends, it's been a long time, shouldn't have left you. The group has been all sorts of busy lately - we hosted a Kickstarter launch show at Intuition Ale Works (thanks to all who came, the support we received was inspirational!), played on a ridiculously large stage at the Jax Agricultural Fair (read the article here!), and are currently 2/3 of the way done with our first EP "Sea Legs!"

If you haven't had a chance to see or contribute to our Kickstarter project, there is still just over a week left! We're having to purchase an extra day in the studio (oh, the costs of being a perfectionist), so any and all help is appreciated more than you know. CLICK HERE TO SEE ADORABLE DWARF KITTENS!

We're working on our show schedule as well as getting our cd formally released, so make sure you stay in touch for upcoming details!

On a side note, I think this cat sitting next to me is possessed. It's all in the stare. Does she even have eyelids?

Welcome!

We four here at Robin Rütenberg & Friends Co. are thrilled to unveil our beautiful, brand-spankin' new website (robinrutenberg.com!), designed and launched by ours truly, Summer Wood! We've got everything you need to stay updated on our music, including show dates, videos/photos, online downloads, and more.

We'll be accruing momentum over the next few months, so make sure you stay tuned! We're currently gearing up for our Kickstarter release show at Intuition Ale Works on October 30th, a show at the Jacksonville Fair on November 6th, and, of course, recording and releasing our first demo as a group - Sea Legs.

Thanks for stopping by, we hope to see you soon : )

Early October

Last night, the music from practice drifted into my sleep and I slept like a happy baby goat. An old friend, one of the best kinds, stopped by and listened in on our practice too as we prepared for next Wednesday's ArtWalk. We'll be playing at Burro Bar with some impressive chaps: Morningwar (Miami) and Lucky Costello (Jax Beach). Show starts at 9 pm, be da.

Also, you can catch a solo performance (perhaps a duo with Naarah) tomorrow, Oct 1st, at Jack Rabbit's Duval Day festival. I'll be hitting the stage at 3:00 pm. Here's the lineup:
